Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about XSEC stake pool and Cardano delegation.
Staking is the process of delegating your ADA to a stake pool to help secure the Cardano network. In return, you earn rewards. Your ADA never leaves your wallet and you maintain full control of your funds.
Staking rewards typically range from 4-6% annually, depending on various factors including pool performance, network parameters, and the amount of ADA staked across the network.
Yes, you need a minimum of 10 ADA to delegate. However, we recommend having at least 100 ADA to make the delegation worthwhile after fees.
Yes, you can unstake or redelegate your ADA at any time. There's no lock-up period. Your ADA remains in your wallet and you can spend it whenever you want.
XSEC is run by certified DevSecOps engineers with over 20 years of experience. We focus on security, reliability, and contributing to Cardano's decentralization as a small pool. Our infrastructure meets enterprise standards.
After delegating, it takes 2-3 epochs (10-15 days) before you start receiving rewards. This is how the Cardano protocol works and applies to all stake pools.
